Alexandra Standing MA (dist.) BMus (Hons) DipABRSM
Alex is an active award-winning pianist and chamber musician. She recently graduated with distinction from the Royal Academy of Music in London, where she studied collaborative piano with James Baillieu and Christopher Glynn.
Alex has won various awards and prizes at the Royal Academy of Music, including the Marjorie Thomas Art of Song award.
In 2020 Alex was a finalist in the Richard Lewis competition. She was the grateful recipient of funding from the Richard Lewis Trust.
She also performs for Finchcocks Charity, working with historical keyboard instruments.
BBC Radio 3 have broadcast multiple performances that Alex has played in, including new compositions by modern composers.
Alex recently relocated to Salisbury to take up the position of School Accompanist at the Godolphin School.
